How to use your Haven grant

To use your grant on a Haven holiday, your travelling party must include both the main carer and the child that you applied for. Once they have been accounted for, other family members and/or carers can also be included in the booking. If once you’ve booked your holiday you still have some grant left over, up to £100 can be changed into “spend vouchers” which can be used in the shops, bars and restaurants on your chosen resort. Otherwise, you can keep it in your account for another time.

We recommend you contact Haven straight away to check availability of your chosen holiday dates. They will also tell you the booking process and inform you of the holiday options open to you. Talk to Haven’s friendly advisors about the break you are looking for on 0333 202 5423. Haven’s opening hours are Monday to Sunday 9:00am – 9:00pm.  

You must make a holiday booking with Haven within 9 months of receiving your holiday grant. If a booking has not been made or if there are any unused funds after 9 months, these will be returned to the Family Fund.

Extra Savings

For those who haven't received a family break award this time, there are still exclusive offers and extra savings available at Haven holidays.
