A little of your time makes a big difference- why we’d love you to volunteer for Family Fund.
As a volunteer, you’ll be helping us get essential grants and services to families on a low income raising disabled and seriously ill children, right across the UK.
Whether it’s giving your time to be part of our events, promoting us in your local community, or helping keep our processes smooth and efficient- every hour you can give matters.
Whether you have a few hours to spare regularly, or want to volunteer occasionally, perhaps at a fun event, we’ve got something for you
We want to make every volunteering role a really rewarding experience. We’ll be supporting you to grow your skills, experience and confidence, meet new people and make connections. You’ll have a ‘time well spent’ feeling- knowing you have made a real difference.
“Being a volunteer makes me feel great – to give something back and help other people.”
Who can volunteer?
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and value your unique lived experience. You may be retired, and looking for new connections, taking a career break, or a student eager to gain practical work experience. All we ask is that all volunteers are aged 18 or over.
We know your time is precious, and that flexibility is key. That’s why we’ll work with you- to find a role that best fits your life. Whether you have a few hours to spare regularly each week, want to volunteer occasionally, perhaps at a fun event, or have caring commitments that mean you need to volunteer from your own home.
“I know the difference my support can make. It gives me a sense of achievement to be part of making a difference.”
