Which grant programmes are available?

If you have a disabled or seriously ill child under three, and would benefit from access to a car, the Family Fund Mobility Support programme could help.

Family Fund provides a wide range of grants to families living in Northern Ireland raising a disabled or seriously ill child, or young adult, on a low income. See here more about our grants.

Family Fund provides a wide range of grants to families living in Scotland raising a disabled, or seriously ill, child or young adult on a low income.

Funded by the Department for Education and managed by Family Fund, the SFDC programme provides a wide range of grant items to families in England with a low-income, who are raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person.

Take a Break is Scotland’s short break grant scheme for disabled children and their families. Take a Break grants can be used for a break away, towards leisure activities or outings; sports equipment and much, much more.

In partnership with The Marian Elizabeth Trust, we are providing further grant support for families raising children and young adults with multiple complex significant support needs living in specific locations across Birmingham, Liverpool, Chester, Leicester, Peterborough and surrounding areas.

This programme is currently closed, due to funding availability.
