Learn something useful from home with our free online workshops for parents and carers of disabled and seriously ill children.

Our friendly, practical sessions cover topics that can help with everyday family life. You can learn how to use digital tools and accessibility features, help your child stay safer online, create useful resources to support your child, and build your confidence using technology.

Workshops are designed to be easy to follow, with opportunities to ask questions and learn alongside other parents and carers. You don’t need to be confident with technology or have any previous experience to take part.

Topics can include:

• online safety and parental controls
• digital skills and useful online tools
• accessibility features and settings
• creating visual supports and social stories
• practical ways to use technology to support your child
• Creative fun for children and young people

Our team attends events across the UK, giving families the opportunity to speak to us face-to-face, ask questions and find out about the different support available.

You can learn more about Family Fund grants, discover our workshops and digital support, and explore other information and resources that could help your family.

Some events also bring together other organisations and local services, making them a useful opportunity to discover more support in your area.
