How to use a furniture and household grant
Find out everything you need to know about using your furniture and household grant
Your furniture and household grant will be sent to you as an Argos e-gift card, separately from your grant award email or letter. Your e-card does not need to be activated, so you can use it as soon as you receive it.
Please note that you must only use the money on your card to buy the items on your furniture and household grant award letter.
Your total Argos e-card amount must be used within 60 days from the date on your grant award letter, otherwise the card will expire and funds will be returned to Family Fund.
When you use the e-card, please keep all receipts for 12 months from the date of each purchase you make as we may write and ask you for them. If you have any problems with your item you may need to show your receipt to the retailer.

To check your gift card balance, or confirm the card expiry date, please sign into your Argos account online and use the balance/ expiry checker provided. Alternatively, you can have this checked in your local Argos store.
