Canva Creators: Your Name in Pictures

Your Name in Pictures is a short video where we'll learn how to use the camera on your device and search for shapes that can spell out your name. We will then learn to edit and animate these pictures using Canva.

What you’ll need

To create Your Name in Pictures, you will need to create a FREE account for Canva – an online piece of software or app that can be used on any phone, tablet or computer.

Show us your work

Once you have created your name in pictures – you can send it to the Family Fund team using an app called Showbie. Showbie is a tool that allows you to join a virtual classroom and show off your amazing creations.

Ask a grown up to help you set up a Showbie account and join our virtual class using code: EEZYC4.

Additional challenge

Now that you have an understanding of how to create words using pictures, show us your best efforts and try and design a sign for your bedroom door decorated with your favourite things!

Send in your best design through Showbie and we’ll take a look at how amazing they are and send you some lovely feedback. You may even see some of our favourites on the Family Fund social media channels!
