Coding Superstars: Roaming Robots

Roaming Robots is a short video where we'll use block coding to make a robot move around the screen!

What you’ll need

To create your own roaming robot, you will need to access the FREE to use website VEXCode – an online coding tool which is available to use on any phone, tablet or computer.

Show us your work

Once you have created your own roaming robot, you can send it to the Family Fund team using an app called Showbie. Showbie is a tool that allows you to join a virtual classroom and show off your amazing creations.

Ask a grown up to help you set up a Showbie account and join our virtual class using code: EEZYC4.

Additional challenge

Now that you have an understanding of how to create a roaming robot using VEXCode, show us your best efforts and send us a screen recording of your robot!

Send your screen recording to us through Showbie and we’ll take a look at how amazing they are and send you some lovely feedback. You may even see some of our favourites on the Family Fund social media channels!
