Amazing Artists: Amazing Animations

We'll combine the retro charm of Pixel Art with the cutting-edge magic of AI motion to help you create your very own animated characters. Watch your own hand drawn creations come to life!

What you’ll need

To create your own animation, you will need to use the free websites Piskel and Sketch Metademolab. These websites are available to use on any Android or Apple device such as a tablet or phone.

Show us your work

Once you have created your own animation, you can send it to the Family Fund team using an app called Showbie. Showbie is a tool that allows you to join a virtual classroom and show off your amazing creations.

Ask a grown up to help you set up a Showbie account and join our virtual class using code: EEZYC4.

Additional challenge

Now that you have an understanding of how to create your own animations, show us your best efforts and create a new character in Piskel based on your favourite animal and animate it!  

Send in your best animations through Showbie and we’ll take a look at how amazing they are and send you some lovely feedback. You may even see some of our favourites on the Family Fund social media channels!
