How to set up a Showbie account

It is very simple to set up a Showbie account and access the Family Fund Learning Zone channel within it:

1. Download Showbie. If you are using an Apple device, you can download this from the App Store or if you have a different type of device go to the Showbie website
2. You need to select “I’m a student”
3. Enter our class code for the Learning Zone: EEZYC4
4. If you don’t already have an account, select “Sign up with a username”
5. Set your own username and password (so that you can log in again in the future more easily)
6. You will now have access to our channel called The Learning Zone (although some information may not be ready straight away as a member of our team will need to accept you)
7. Start uploading your amazing creations!

Why do Family Fund use Showbie?

Giving the kids the knowledge and skills to design amazing creations is the first step of what we want to do. Secondly, we would like them to be able to show off their hard work too.

Showbie is widely used by teachers and in academic settings as a way for students to showcase their creative designs in a secure and simple to use digital space.

Showbie is a great place to track any progress, allows the trainers and staff at Family Fund to provide valuable and encouraging feedback whilst celebrating all achievements.

This tool allows one to one access between your child and the team at Family Fund, whilst keeping them safe and not allowing any access to other students or users of Showbie.

As well as a safe learning space, we are looking to provide peace of mind to parents that children are developing valuable skills and confidence in a monitored, child-friendly environment.
