Naidex event volunteer – Birmingham

About the role

Join us at Naidex, a leading event for the disability community, and help visitors learn more about Family Fund and the help available to families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.

In this role, you will:

• Welcome visitors and start friendly conversations about Family Fund
• Explain our grant programmes and signpost people to further information
• Answer straightforward questions, with help from the Family Fund team when needed
• Help prepare and pack away the stall where required
• Work with the team to make our stand welcoming, accessible and informative

Naidex brings together visitors, exhibitors and organisations from across the disability community, making this a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of Family Fund and connect families with useful information.

About you

• Can listen carefully and communicate information clearly
• Enjoy working alongside others in a busy event setting
• Are reliable and able to attend for the agreed time

You do not need previous event or volunteering experience. We will give you the information and guidance you need before the day.

Support and training

Before the event, we will share a briefing covering the day, your tasks and key information about Family Fund. A member of our team will be there throughout to answer questions and provide guidance.
