Using Google tools to help manage family life

Join us for this practical, jargon-free online workshop designed specifically for busy parents. Whether you’re an Android devotee or an iPhone user who loves Google apps, you’ll learn how to get your household running like a well-oiled machine. In this session, we will look at how you can set up a “Google Family Group” to automatically create a shared calendar, create shared, real-time lists that the whole family can tick off simultaneously and use Google Tasks for recurring chores (like “Put the bins out”). Join us if you want to reduce the “mental clutter.” No advanced tech skills are required – if you have a Gmail address, you’re ready to go!

We’ll also talk about other free Google products such as Google Drive, Docs and Sheets.

Join the workshop on Tuesday 20 October at 6pm – 7pm.

The workshop is held online via Zoom with an experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.

Please note:

• This is a friendly and informal workshop for parents and carers.
• To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
