About Us
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants and services to families on a low income raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. We work across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to ease financial pressures, improve quality of life, and ensure families have the support they need to thrive.
At Family Fund, we believe that trust is built through openness and accountability. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, good governance and responsible stewardship of the funds entrusted to us.
This page explains how we are governed, how funds are used, how we measure and report our impact, and the principles that guide our decision-making. By being open about our structures, practices and performance, we aim to strengthen confidence in our work and ensure families, supporters, partners and the public can clearly see how we operate and deliver value for the communities we serve.
Our Vision
Family Fund’s vision is a society where families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people have the same choices, opportunities, quality of life and aspirations as other families.
We exist to improve everyday life for families on a low income by providing practical grants for essential items and family experiences, offering supportive services that strengthen financial wellbeing, digital confidence and emotional resilience, and creating meaningful opportunities for families to share their experiences and shape the systems that affect them.
Through our 2023 to 2028 strategy of ‘being there’, we are focused on delivering essential help, growing our reach, working in partnership to drive positive change, and enabling our team to give their best so that more families can thrive.
