Designer and Visual Brand Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Designer and Visual Brand Specialist to join our busy and creative Marketing Communications Team.   

The role 

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Designer and Visual Brand Specialist to bring our brand to life and generate creative design work that inspires audiences to support our charity. You will deliver an efficient, accurate, organised and cost-effective in-house graphic design service to wide-ranging clients internally and externally. 

Duties include: 

• Collaborating with clients, discussing objectives and requirements for new digital and print content and materials and providing expert advice and design solutions 

• Interpreting wide-ranging colleagues’ needs and developing ideas and concepts. 

• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research. 

• Thinking creatively to produce new and engaging ideas, solutions and concepts. 

• Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to the marketing and communications team and wider colleagues. 

About You 

To join our team, you’ll need significant experience as a professional graphic designer and a graphic design related qualification.  You will have excellent client management skills and be able to confidently provide expert advice to influence success rates.  

You must be proficient in using design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other Creative Suite apps. You must have excellent typographic and graphic design skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve and think innovatively.
