That’s right, Discover Digital is going on tour! We’re taking our free iPad workshops for parent carers on the road, to offer face-to-face support, to help you get the most out of your device to support your child’s digital learning and development.

Our upcoming workshops

What to expect?

The workshop will be very informal, and you’ll get chances to ask any questions you have about your iPad.

In the first part of the workshop, we’ll explore useful settings and features to ensure you’re making the most of your iPad. We can look at how to:

• set up time limits on apps
• add restrictions to websites
• change text and screen colour, for easier comprehension
• use the zoom feature
• set up Siri so your iPad will talk directly to you, and your child
• use the Apple Store
• use all the iPad settings, features and apps that are useful for your family

In the second part of the workshop, we’ll discuss what creative things you and your child can do on your iPad, using the free Clips app.

Free refreshments and lunch will be provided for people participating in the full workshop.
