The Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF) provides grants to people in Wales. The Discretionary Assistance Fund gives grants to people who live in Wales. It gives grants to people who need help to live independently in the community or have experienced an emergency, a crisis or a disaster.

Warm Wales offers a range of advice, support, and referral options tailored to the needs of the household. Learning Disability Wales is a national charity representing the learning disability sector in Wales. Learning Disability Wales work with people a learning disability and their families, Welsh government, local authorities, disabled people’s organisation and the voluntary sector to create a better Wales for all people with a learning disability.

Mencap Cymru provide information and services across Wales which support people with a learning disability to have their say and live more independently. Contact the Wales Learning Disability Helpline from Mencap Cymru for information and guidance on the rights of people with a learning disability and to support them to access services or challenge decision.

SNAP Cymru offers free and independent information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs (SEN) / additional learning needs (ALN)and disabilities.  They give advice and support on a range of issues including assessments, individual education plans, statements of special educational needs, bullying, school attendance, exclusion, health and social care provision and discrimination.
