Learn to look after your money online

Don’t know where to start when it comes to maximising your money and what support is already available? We provide free, short online workshops and interactive courses to help you get the information you need.

What do we provide?

Life can cost a lot more when you are a family raising a disabled or seriously ill child. But did you know there are tools available on the internet that can save you time and money?

Our free Finance online service supports families raising disabled children and young people the chance to learn about online tools that can help with managing their money.

We run a variety of interactive courses and workshops on the topic of money and online services. All our tools are online, and you can also receive the support from the Family Fund Services team. This means you can access support wherever you are in the UK.

  • Where to get help with your energy costs
  • Manage your bills online
  • Find grants online
  • Information and guidance for carers
  • Using the GOV.UK website
  • Checking the benefits you could get online

You can hop in and out of courses at a time to suit you – You don’t even have to register! And you can access the courses on your mobile, tablet or computer.

Join a Finances Online workshop

All our workshop are free and open to families raising disabled children and young people.

Workshops happen online using Zoom, a free platform. If you need it, we will help you to install and use Zoom before the workshop.

Meet your trainers

Lisa has over 15 years of experience in training. She is also a full-time carer, so understands first-hand the financial challenges that caring can bring. She has designed and delivered courses aimed at helping carers to navigate the benefits system and maximise their household income.
