Family Fund are here to help families throughout Scotland raising a child or young person with a disability or additional needs.

The cost of caring crisis is affecting all, but none more so than those raising a disabled or seriously ill child. In partnership with the Scottish Government, Family Fund are helping to raise awareness to the benefits of being online.

We want to help you find out if you are claiming all the benefits that your family are eligible for and how to use online tools to get the best deals. We will support you with simple guidance to manage your money and bills online and to search for grants for your family.

Online workshops

There will be a series of free online workshops over the coming months, in which you will have access to a dedicated trainer for advice on a range of topics.These will include;

The benefits of being online
Switch and save online
Using online budget tools
Completing an online grant search
Supporting your young person into adulthood

Family Fund have worked hard to create a series of online learning resources jam packed full of useful hints and tips. These are all free of charge and you can access them from any device at a time that is convenient for you.

Interactive space to chat with others

Being a parent or carer of a disabled child is hard work, but you are not alone. Family Fund want to bring together like minded families across Scotland to share experiences and advice with each other.

Talking to those that are not living with real life experiences isn’t the same as being able to talk to others that may understand what you are going through. Join our community Facebook group and meet other like minded families across Scotland.
