Citizens Advice are a national charity and a network of independent local charities who offer confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free.
How do Citizens Advice help?
Find your local Citizens Advice where trained volunteers and specialist caseworkers can advise you on a wide range of topics from benefits, debt, housing and family.
Many local Citizens Advice services also provide help with Universal Credit applications.
They also give advice on consumer rights through a consumer helpline, support witnesses in courts through the Witness Service and give pension guidance to people aged over 50.
