Who is CALM? 

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) take a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living.

How can CALM help? 

CALM’s helpline and live chat are open from 5pm to midnight every day, offering practical suggestions for all of life’s problems – whether that’s anxiety, relationship concerns, health worries, money worries or suicidal thoughts. Staff answer a call every 59 seconds – they listen, talk and help people struggling with life to make a plan so they can begin to look to the future. Helpline and live chat are for everyone over the age of 15.

CALM guides are available on their website covering topics like anxiety, addiction, relationship breakdowns, financial stress and work problems.
