Half term Micro:Bit coding: Pet hamster

Join our fun Saturday morning coding session and learn to code with Micro:Bit!

In this session, we’ll use block code and the input buttons on Micro:Bit to look after our pet, by ‘feeding it’ and ‘looking after it’ with code!

We’ll be using the free Micro:Bit website that is available on iPads, Android devices and laptops.

Join our workshop on Saturday, 22 February at 10.30am.

We are holding this workshop online via Zoom. An experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team will be there to support.

Please note:

• This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person – siblings are very welcome to join in too.
• You’ll need to have a device to access the internet to take part in the workshop activities.
• To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
