Join our creative workshops designed for the whole family in a safe space to learn and create with other families raising disabled children.
Bring your imagination to life in this double-feature digital animation workshop! We’re combining the retro charm of Pixel Art with the cutting-edge magic of AI motion to help you create your very own animated characters. In this fun, hands-on online session, you’ll go from a blank canvas to a dancing, jumping, or waving character in just 60 minutes.
In this session, we will use 2 free websites, Piskel App and Sketch MetaDemoLab to create our own animations. Master Piskel App to draw your own cool pixel art character. Learn about colour palettes, shading and how to create “sprites” – the building blocks of classic video games! Then, watch your own hand drawn creations come to life! We’ll take your designs over to the “Sketch Metademolab” (Meta’s AI tool) to automatically animate your character.
Join the workshop on Tuesday 26 May at 1.30pm to 2.30pm
