Coding Superstars: Spooky Skeletons

Let's create a spooky skeleton animation using block coding and the Scratch website! Find out how to use different blocks to make your skeleton dance!

What you’ll need

To create your own spooky skeletons, you will need to access the FREE to use website Scratch – an online coding tool which is available to use on any phone, tablet or computer. 

Show us your work

Once you have created your own spooky skeletons, you can send it to the Family Fund team using an app called Showbie. Showbie is a tool that allows you to join a virtual classroom and show off your amazing creations.

Ask a grown up to help you set up a Showbie account and join our virtual class using code: EEZYC4.

Additional challenge

Now that you have an understanding of how to create spooky skeletons, show us your best efforts and create some other dancing characters!

Send in your dancing characters through Showbie and we’ll take a look at how amazing it is and send you some lovely feedback. You may even see some of our favourites on the Family Fund social media channels!
