Canva Creators: Stop Motion Animation

Using the idea of Stop Motion and Canva, we will create an animation of a superhero scene! We will look at creating backgrounds, choosing characters and animating them to create our own superhero video!

What you’ll need

To create your own wonderful website, you will need to create a FREE account for Canva – an online piece of software or app that can be used on any phone, tablet or computer.

Show us your work

Once you have created your own wonderful website – you can send it to the Family Fund team using an app called Showbie. Showbie is a tool that allows you to join a virtual classroom and show off your amazing creations.

Ask a grown up to help you set up a Showbie account and join our virtual class using code: EEZYC4.

Additional challenge

Now that you have an understanding of how make a stop motion animation, show us your best efforts and see if you can create another one!

Send in your animation through Showbie and we’ll take a look at how amazing they are and send you some lovely feedback. You may even see some of our favourites on the Family Fund social media channels!
