Funding Opportunities Research Volunteer 

 About the role 

We’re looking for a funding research volunteer to support our Philanthropy Manager and Statutory Partnerships Manager. You’ll help identify potential funding opportunities by researching charitable trusts, foundations, grant programmes, businesses, and other organizations that may be interested in supporting Family Fund’s work. 

You’ll also help us build our understanding of potential supporters by gathering information, reviewing funding criteria, and identifying opportunities that align with our mission. Your research will play an important role in helping us secure funding that enables us to continue supporting families across the UK. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into fundraising, philanthropy and grant funding while making a meaningful contribution from the comfort of your own home. 

About you 

This role would suit someone who enjoys researching and discovering new information. You’re naturally curious, organized, and have a good eye for detail. You’ll be comfortable working independently, gathering information from a variety of sources, and presenting your findings concisely. 

A good understanding of Family Fund’s work and passion for supporting families is essential. You’ll be excited by the idea of helping us identify new opportunities to grow our impact and support even more disabled and seriously ill children and their families. 

You don’t need previous fundraising experience, although an interest in charities, research, fundraising or business development would be beneficial.
