Meet Ago, who’s jumping out of a plane for Family Fund

From Firewalking to Skydiving in aid of Family Fund.  

Ago said: 

“I decided I wanted to take on an amazing challenge, something out of the box and a bit different whilst raising funds for Family Fund, who I think are an incredible charity that makes such a difference to so many families raising disabled or seriously ill children. I wanted to be a part of that difference.

In November 2025, I took on the Firewalk in York and honestly found it the most amazing experience. We did 1.5 hours of mind over matter training as a group before the event which was great fun and had us set up and ready to go. Walking over the coals did not hurt at all! I can’t explain why exactly, but you just had to have it in your mind to go from the training and it worked! Afterwards I was exhilarated and so proud of my achievement both personally and fundraising wise.
