Discover Digital Inclusion: Your Opportunity
Family Fund is pleased to announce an exciting new experience in our Your Opportunity programme. Budding filmmakers, designers, coders and musicians can further their passions on our new certified digital learning course!
Funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), our latest tailored learning course is made for Your Opportunity 18-24 year olds who are looking to gain experience and improve on digital skills.
No prior experience or knowledge is required, and this course has been created for young people with additional needs in mind.
Build online skills in this accredited course
Our units follow AQA’S Unit Award Scheme which allows learners to achieve recognised certificates for each unit they choose to complete.
And that’s not all! Participants will create a portfolio showcasing the work they make under supportive mentorships and in creative workshops. There will also be interest-led digital learning, so participants can focus their attention on the areas they enjoy the most.
As the world gets more digital, we have the opportunity to break down societal boundaries that disabled young people face. Digital industries have the ability to create accessible and equitable environments, and our learning is centred on output-focussed skills. In the digital world your work speaks for itself, we will help build a portfolio that proves talent and unveils inner digital ability.
By mastering new digital skills our learners will be boosting their CV, gaining independence and tech-confidence, while also showing prospective employers a unique perspective that is a high-value asset in the modern workplace.
