Family breaks

We work with a selection of partners in the UK to offer family break grants to suit your family’s individual needs. These grants provide quality time for you, and your family, to enjoy together to make memories.

What family breaks can I apply for?

Make memories through a family break grants- offered by a selection of our UK partners. Choose from a range of accessible, fun and scenic breaks in the UK, or overseas, so you can spend quality time together as a family.

When applying, please include as much information as possible about the type of break you’d like as a family and the difference it will make to the child or young person you’re applying for.

Please note that you cannot apply for a grant for breaks that you’ve already booked.

We partner with Inspire to offer wide-ranging family breaks in the UK, and abroad. Bookings must include the main carer and the child you have applied for. You can also add family members and/or carers to your booking.

Ideas for what you could book:

A camping holiday in Cornwall, a contribution towards a week in Spain, a theatre break in London, a family adventure holiday with PGL, a cottage break in the country, a trip to Disneyland Paris, Blackpool Pleasure Beach wristbands*, a trip to Legoland*, a visit to Ripley’s in London*, a trip to Alton Towers or Drayton Manor Park*.

(*A minimum of one night’s accommodation must be booked for these locations).

Grant conditions

All family break grants with Inspire need to be booked within six months of issue, but your date of travel can be after the six-month expiry date.

Our partners at Haven have over four decades of experience meeting the needs of families with disabled children. Haven parks can offer you, and your family, either an active or relaxing break, whichever you need most. Their teams are constantly updating park facilities and advisors are always on hand, to talk through your family’s needs.

Grant conditions

Family break grants with Haven need to be booked within nine months of issue, but your date of travel can be after the nine-month expiry date.

We partner with Butlin’s to offer wide-ranging UK breaks suited to your family and the dates you can get away, across three seaside resorts at Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness.
