Donor Advised Funds

Family Fund works with Donor Advised Funds to help reach more families facing financial hardship, deliver essential grants, and unlock opportunities that many others take for granted.

How does it work?

Individuals and families can donate cash, shares or other assets into a Donor Advised Fund and may receive tax-effective benefits at the point of giving.

You can choose to:

• Make a single donation or build funds over time
• Support charities immediately or recommend grants at a later date
• Incorporate your Donor Advised Fund into your wider estate planning

Once funds are in place, you can recommend donations to causes that matter to you.

Supporting Family Fund

If you choose to support Family Fund through your Donor Advised Fund, you simply recommend Family Fund as a recipient and specify the amount you’d like to give.

After confirming our eligibility and completing due diligence, your Donor Advised Fund provider makes the donation on your behalf.

We’re happy to work closely with your provider to ensure your gift is used in line with your priorities – and that you receive meaningful updates and impact reporting, either directly or via your DAF.

What if I want to remain anonymous?

We are incredibly grateful for every gift and will always respect your wishes.

If you choose to remain anonymous, we will work with your Donor Advised Fund provider to ensure your privacy is protected. With your agreement, we can also share updates about the impact of your support via your DAF.
