Winter Support Appeal

Imagine you can’t give your child a hot meal, a cosy bed or warm, clean clothing this winter. 

Or falling so far behind on rising bills you can’t heat the house or sleep for worrying about debt. With no way of cutting costs or working to bring in more income. 

UK families raising disabled or seriously ill children struggling on a low income are living in fear of costs this winter. Burnt out and exhausted from an unrelenting caring load and coping without support. Facing far higher bills than average households to meet their child’s needs. And forced to make impossible choices like not eating to afford a child’s vital equipment or hospital travel. 

Winter is harsh, but you can help ease daily fears and pressure by giving a lifeline grant for an essential item.

• Help a family replace a broken cooker, washing machine or other household appliance to reduce stress and labour. 

• Give the gift of play equipment or technology so a child can thrive instead of missing out on learning, development and friendships.
