Why your support is so important

Our Cost of Caring Report found that families share the unavoidable additional costs of disability including higher food bills and extra heating costs, specialist equipment and replacement items due to increased wear and tear on the home:

• 44% of families tell us they experience income insufficiency, meaning they cannot meet day-to-day expenses despite receiving disability benefits. 

• Parents/carers provide the equivalent of an extra full-time unpaid caring role every single day, leaving just 7% able to work as much as they would like. 

• 80% of families are unable to replace essential household items like fridges, beds, or washing machines when they break.

How to enter

To buy your raffle ticket and to be in for a chance of winning, head to our dedicated Autumn Grand Raffle page on Galabid.

Select the number of tickets you would like to purchase (there’s no limit!) click on the purchase button and then register on GalaBid, following the on-screen instructions.

If you are new to GalaBid, you will be sent a verification number to the email address that you are registering with. If you are already registered with GalaBid, you can use those login details to enter.

Ticket sales close at 12:59pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026. The draw will take place virtually at 1.00pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026 using GalaBid’s random draw function. All valid, paid ticket numbers will be included and each ticket will have an equal chance of being selected. Seven winning tickets will be drawn, with prizes awarded in the numbered order shown above. Winners will be contacted using the details provided when purchasing their ticket.
