Supermarket collections volunteer – York

We’re looking for York-based volunteers to help raise money for families with disabled or seriously ill children across the UK. Join us at our upcoming York supermarket collection!

About the role

We’re looking for volunteers with bucket-loads of enthusiasm to help us collect funds for families caring for disabled or seriously ill children. 

As a Community Collections Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in raising vital funds by encouraging shoppers to donate and talking about Family Fund’s work. 

Your mission? 

• Bring energy and positivity to collection points.
• Engage with the public in a friendly, approachable way.
• Help us raise as much as possible to support families.

It’s a simple way to give back, meet new people and make a real impact.

About you

You are friendly, reliable, and confident speaking to the public. 

You can give a few hours to raise money that will make a big difference.
