Calling all parents and carers in the Edinburgh area! Is your family raising a child with a disability or additional support needs?
Join Family Fund for a free face-to-face event at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, where we will hold mini workshops. The focus of the event is to help you manage your finances online and make sure you’re getting all the benefits and support you’re entitled to.
You might need some support to build your digital confidence and skills, or you may be ready to take the plunge and learn more about digital money tools!
You will also be able to talk to other organisations that could support you in our marketplace. And our Family Fund colleagues will be available all day for any questions you have about Family Fund grants.
Families are welcome on the day and there will be activities to entertain the children. Plus, lunch will be included for all attendees.
If access to devices is a barrier in your household, we might be able to help. For those looking to increase their digital skills or improve their finances but struggling without a working device such as a computer or tablet, Family Fund may be able to provide you with one. Please let us know when you register for the event and information regarding this will be provided before you attend.
Come along and join us as a family and let us help you make the most of your finances.
Where is the event?
The event is at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh on Thursday 16 April from 9.30am – 2.00pm.
The venue is in close proximity to Edinburgh Waverley train station and other public transportation links.
What can I expect on the day?
Several optional mini workshops will take place during in the day, and a free lunch will be available. Join other families and take the opportunity to chat with local organisations who’ll be on hand to provide helpful information.
