Together – Scottish Alliance for Children’s Rights
Together is an alliance of Scottish children's charities that works to improve the awareness, understanding and implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
Together has and continues to undertake a range of work with children and young people. All of these projects seek to improve the awareness, understanding and implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
How can Together help?
Children’s human rights are set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The UNCRC applies to everyone under the age of 18. Its aim is to ensure that children grow up in a spirit of peace, dignity, tolerance, freedom, equality and solidarity. The UNCRC is about what children need to grow up happy, healthy and safe and ensure their views are taken into account in decisions that affect them.
Together provide information about the UNCRC and other mechanisms that provide rights and protections for children, as well as how children’s rights are being progressed in Scotland.
Together’s resource library provides the latest publications, reports and other resources on children’s rights.
