Coding club: Animated animals

Join our fun Saturday morning Coding club workshop and learn to code with Micro:Bit!

In this session we’ll create our own animated animals, using block code to display pictures and even make them move.

We’ll be using the free Micro:Bit website that is available on iPads, Android devices and laptops.

Join our workshop on Saturday, 5 July from 10.30am to 11.30am.

We are holding this workshop online via Zoom. An experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team will be there to support.

This workshop is part of a new coding series of three sessions that will run every first Saturday of the month. Each workshop will get slightly more challenging, so make sure to sign up for the entire series.

Please note:

• This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person – siblings are very welcome to join in too.
• You’ll need to have a device to access the internet to take part in the workshop activities.
• To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
