About The Marian Elizabeth Trust
The trust was established in memory of Marian Edwards and her daughter Elizabeth. Marian devoted her life to caring for Elizabeth. Elizabeth was born with multiple complex learning and physical support needs. She was born in 1939, during a time of little understanding, or available support for families raising disabled or seriously ill children.
The Marian Elizabeth Trust is unable to accept direct applications from individuals for financial assistance. Instead, the Trust makes grants to charitable organisations, such as hospices and charities, which support families raising disabled children. By working with Family Fund, they were able to support more disabled children and young people, through a single application process.
For more information about the Trust and why it was set up, you can email [email protected].
