TOGETHER programme

Family Fund has joined forces with Variety, the Children's Charity, to deliver TOGETHER - a new grant programme to provide disabled children with sensory toys and equipment or technology items to help with communication and learning.

Who is eligible for support?

To be eligible you must be:

  • the main carer for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person aged 17 or younger  
  • resident in the UK
  • in receipt of benefits, or on a low income from working.

What you can use your grant for

Available grant items will focus on technology, sensory, and specialist equipment, including:

  • Sensory toys and equipment
  • Enhanced sensory support and equipment (including support for a larger project such as equipping a full sensory room)
  • Tablets
  • Accessible technology
  • Specialist bikes and trikes

We would love to be able to help every family, with whatever they need, whenever they need it, but sadly that isn’t possible with the funding we have available. To be fair to as many families as possible, the Together Programme is open to families who haven’t had a grant from Family Fund in the last two years. We are sorry but our funding for Wales has now been allocated.
