Family Fund is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025 and it’s your chance to make twice the impact with a single donation. For one week only, every donation made through the Big Give platform will be matched pound for pound, at no extra cost to you.
Winter can push families on a low income to breaking point. Essentials like warm clothing, bedding, and working cookers are often out of reach. With your help, Family Fund provides grants and support services that ease pressure and bring real relief when it’s needed most.
To be matched, donations must be made through the Big Give Christmas Challenge website only between midday on Tuesday 2 December and midday on Tuesday 9 December 2025
You can use a variety of card types, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and CAF Bank. If you’re a UK taxpayer, don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box to make your donation go even further.
Top tip: The platform may ask if you’d like to add a voluntary tip. To opt out, select ‘Other’ and enter ‘0’.
Thanks to the generous support of McCain and The Reed Foundation, we have a match funding pot in place. Every donation made during the challenge will be doubled until the pot runs out up to a value of £17,500. Even if it’s used up, your donation will still go directly to our work and if we exceed our target, we may even qualify for an additional award from the Big Give.
What your donation supports
Your gift, big or small, will help us be there for families and will help fund:
Grants for essential items like clothing, beds, or cookers
