iPad workshop: Make it work for you

Our ‘Make it work for you’ workshop will show you how to use the accessibility features on your iPad.

This session will be specifically focussed on the hearing section of accessibility. Find out how to turn on captions, select visual or vibrating alerts, interact with Siri using the keyboard, and more.

During the workshop you will have the opportunity to ask questions to our experienced Apple Educator.

The workshop is held online via Zoom with an Apple-accredited trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.

Please note:

• This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for parents/carers of disabled or seriously ill children and young people.
• You’ll need to have an iPad (or an iPhone) to take part in the workshop activities.
• To keep your iPad free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
