What software is needed?
Ahead of any of the coding sessions, you will not need to download anything to your device. The coding sessions will all take place using a free online website called Scratch.
You can access Scratch online without signing up. You can create an account if you want to save your work and come back to it later.

The coding pathway will consist of 3 different workshops. You do not need to complete all three if you do not want to.
The workshops will be available live on the following dates:
Unit 1: Basic block coding – Saturday 31 January at 10:30am
Unit 2: Adding sounds and visual effects in Scratch – Saturday 14 February at 10:30am
Unit 3: Basics of testing and debugging – Saturday 28 February at 10:30am
Units
You can access the workshops below to view an ‘on-demand’ version. This will allow you to watch in your own time and at your own pace, and be able to rewind parts where needed.
