Using Showbie

Showbie is a free online application that is key for learners enrolled in our scheme.

For a short step by step guide of how to use Showbie for this programme, you can watch the video below. This will highlight how to:

  • Access Showbie
  • Join the Family Fund virtual classroom
  • Find all of the learning units
  • Watch on demand workshops
  • Contact a mentor for help
  • Upload any work of your own
  • Complete your end of unit assessments

If you are using an Apple device, there is also a specific app that you can download from the App Store if you would like to.

How to join Showbie

  1. Head to https://my.showbie.com/a/signup
  2. Select “I’m a student”
  3. Enter the classroom code: EMGTCZ
  4. Select ‘sign up with a username’
  5. Enter your first name and last name (please use those of the learner), a username and a password

You will then have access to the Family Fund Showbie virtual classroom. You can view all the unit information here for all Coding, Design, Music or Video pathways.
