Unit 1: Making Music Level 1

What will I learn in this unit?

This unit will cover using BandLab as a beginner. BandLab is a free, cloud based music creation platform that lets users take control of virtual instruments all online. You will learn:

• Learn about the main instruments used in most music styles
• Learn about musical sound groups
• Learn about and listen to different music styles
• Create your own song using various instruments

How do I pass this unit?

To claim the AQA awarded certificate, you must send us a piece of you work and complete a learner assessment.

This should be simple to do, once you have watched the workshop.

The assessment is available in Showbie – the virtual classroom that Family Fund are using.
