Unit 1 of the coding pathway will cover basic block coding using Scratch.

What will I learn in this unit?
This unit will cover using Canva as a beginner. Canva is a universally known design programme used by millions of people and businesses across the world. You will learn:
Creating different types of projects using Canva
Using templates to create a new project
Adding images to your project
Edit images in your project, including cropping, flipping, brightness and filters
Change colours in your project using the colour wheel
Add text to your project
Download and save your project
How do I pass this unit?
To claim the AQA awarded certificate, you must complete a learner assessment.
This should be very simple to do, once you have watched the workshop and created your own mini project in Scratch.
This assessment is available in Showbie – the learning system that Family Fund are using.
