Unit 2: Creating videos

Unit 2 of the video pathway will focus on the actual creation of videos and using different skills and techniques.

What will I learn in this unit?

This unit will cover using CapCut as a beginner. CapCut is a popular, free all-in-one video editing application. You will learn:

  • Take photos and videos to use in your project
  • Import photos and videos to Capcut
  • Use cropping and trimming tools to edit the videos
  • Add text, transitions, animations and effects to your project
  • Add music and narration to your project

How do I pass this unit?

To claim the AQA awarded certificate, you must send us a piece of you work and complete a learner assessment.

This should be simple to do, once you have watched the workshop.

The assessment is available in Showbie – the virtual classroom that Family Fund are using.
