We want to reassure families that we are putting measures in place to ensure we can continue to provide essential grant support. However, we do expect delays in some areas given the impact of Coronavirus on our team and suppliers.

When can I apply again?

We can now consider accepting applications once every nine months as long as your family remains eligible. To find out the date when you can next apply head to our contact us page, selecting the fourth option and inputting your details, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 

How do I get an application form?

Click here to download an application pack, if you do not have access to a printer at the moment complete your details in our application pack request form and we will send a pack out to you.   

What should I do if I cannot post my application form?

If you have applied to us before you may be able to register to apply online which would avoid the risk of going out to post your application.

We know that all non-essential travel is discouraged, and this may include a trip to the post office. If you are unable to physically post your application to us you could take a photos of your completed application and email it in to us at [email protected] 

How can I provide evidence of income if I cannot get out or do not have access to a scanner?

We know that all non-essential travel is discouraged, and this may include a trip to the post office. If you are unable to physically post your income evidence in to us you could take a photos of your most recent award letters or bank statements and email them in to us at [email protected], please include your full name and address contact details in the body of the email. 

How long is it taking to process applications at the moment/when will I hear about my application?

We are working hard to process your grant award as quickly as possible and you will hear from us within at least 10 weeks of us receiving your application.

If you would like an update on your application head to our contact us page, selecting the third option and inputting your details, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 

Can I still apply for a family break, even with Government restrictions around travel?

Yes, we can still consider helping with family breaks. However, due to the coronavirus crisis and the Government guidelines around travel we will be unable to make your grant available to you until the restrictions are lifted. If you submit your application now, we can make sure that everything is in order so we can act as quickly as possible when the time comes. 

Can I apply for another child?

We aim to help a family as a whole rather than per child due to our limited funding. We would always accept an application for an additional child when you are next eligible to apply as it can help us to understand your circumstances, however we couldn't guarantee help for each child.
