iPad workshop: Make a social story

Social stories help children with additional needs to develop a greater social understanding of how the world around them works, and help them stay safe.

Join this workshop and learn how to create a simple visual tool to help your family cope with, and understand new situations.

We will use the app ‘Clips’ to make a social story. ‘Clips’ is a free app available from the App Store.

Come along on Wednesday 15 January at 6pm.

We are holding this workshop online via Zoom. An experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team will be there to support.

Please note

• This is a friendly, informal workshop for parents and carers of disabled or seriously ill children and young people.
• You’ll need to have an iPad (or an iPhone) to take part in the workshop activities. 
• To keep your iPad free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
