Salary: £22,733

Contract: Fixed term until 31 May 2022

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

The role

As Referrer Engagement Officer (Children in Need) you will support the Partnership Manager (Children in Need) in the successful recruitment, engagement and administration of the network of professional referrers across the region who complete applications to the Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme (EEP).

Main duties include:

  • Supporting the recruitment and induction of referrers for Children in Need EEP Fund.
  • Conducting referrer induction activity with a range of external stakeholders and organisations.
  • You will also maintain and continually improve induction and engagement materials for referrers and arrange and conduct face to face referrer engagement activities both virtually and in person, creating and developing content and materials to achieve the outcomes of the Engagement Plan.

About you

To be considered for this role you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social and influencing skills including the ability to build positive relationships externally and internally.  You must be able to work to deadlines and have proven time management skills and being to manage multiple priorities effectively.  For this role you need to be willing to travel regularly (including regular overnight stays).  You must be resilient with a willingness to work independently and flexibly.
