Learn how to put your own piece of music together using your iPad.
Want to get creative and learn new skills with your child using their iPad? Join the ‘DJ superstars’ workshop and learn how to make your own song!
We will learn how to play with pre-made loops and use virtual musical instruments to edit together your masterpiece. At the end of the workshop, we will show you how to share your song with your family and friends.
We will use the ‘Garageband’ app to create your song. ‘Garageband’ is a free app available from the App Store.
Our next ‘DJ superstars’ workshop is on Wednesday 28 May at 10.30am.
The workshop is held online via Zoom. An Apple-accredited trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team will be there to help.
Please note:
This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for families with disabled or seriously ill children and young people – and children (including siblings) are welcome to join!
You’ll need to have an iPad (or an iPhone) to take part in the workshop activities.
To keep your iPad free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
