Salary – £17,627

Full time (35 hours per week), Permanent

Are you looking for a role where your creative talents can benefit tens of thousands of families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people?

Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people – providing over 88,000 grants and services worth over £33 million last year.

As Junior Graphic Designer you will work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer to help deliver an efficient, accurate, organised and cost-effective in-house graphic design service. You will support the provision of a range of creative and design services to colleagues to ensure Family Fund has online and printed materials that communicate effectively with its audiences.

Your other responsibilities will include contributing to the evolution of the design look of our communications (for example, annual review, newsletters, research publications) and grant literature, as well as interpreting colleagues’ needs to develop ideas and concepts. You will work with the Senior Graphic Designer to instruct and manage external agencies (design and web) and photographers to produce new materials to Family Fund standards and brand requirements.

With a design-related qualification or equivalent experience, you will be able to produce highly creative concepts, be proficient in using industry standard design software (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and have outstanding communication and presentation skills. You will be a forward-thinking, enthusiastic team player with excellent time management skills and the ability to work on several projects at the same time.
