Permanent contract

Are you looking for a role where your skills and experience in providing effective and reliable ICT infrastructure can benefit tens of thousands of families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people?

Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people – providing over 88,000 grants and services worth over £33 million in 2016/17.

With a growing reach across the country and an expanding range of grants and services, we need reliable, high-quality technology and systems to deliver our work with families. As ICT Infrastructure Manager, your key responsibility will be to deliver an effective, secure and resilient Group ICT infrastructure and service desk. You will manage two ICT Support Officers.

You will take the lead on designing and implementing plans to ensure our ICT infrastructure meets existing and future organisational requirements. You will ensure that our service desk team provides efficient, effective support, and that our information security measures continue to be effective, including business continuity and cyber security. To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in delivering and maintaining ICT networks and infrastructure, managing an ICT service desk and taking responsibility for information security, ensuring compliance with industry standards, including Cyber Essentials and IASME.

With a broad range of technical skills, you are also a strong project manager and communicator. Knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop software environments, virtualised servers, and supporting and configuring phone systems are important. You will have the ability to build successful working relationships across the organisation, whilst being flexible and adaptable to the needs of a large, non-technical workforce.

In return, we offer a positive and forward-thinking working environment focused on delivering the best possible support to families raising disabled or seriously ill children, with a generous benefits package.
