Head of Grant Delivery Salary: £42,023 per annum Full Time: 35 Hours Permanent contract Are you looking for a role where you can showcase your talents as an experienced Grant Delivery Leader and make a difference to the lives of thousands of disabled children and young people across the UK? Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people – providing over 89,000 grants and services worth over £33 million last year. As Head of Grant Delivery you will take the lead on developing and delivering the Grant Delivery strategy in line with Family Fund’s mission, vision and strategy. You will ensure efficient and effective grant delivery to families, achieving key performance indicators for Family Fund and scheme funders. You will lead on the initiation of new grant delivery activity and programmes, coordinating cross functionally, to deliver against department and organisational strategies. You will be responsible for developing and delivering grant making activities in partnership with Directors and other key stakeholders across the organisation. You will drive and shape the development of new grant schemes and their delivery, informed by the voice of families, to progress Family Fund objectives, as well as proactively developing and managing existing grant delivery to drive organisation performance in delivering current priorities. You will contribute to strategic development by providing ideas, guidance and challenge, using data gathered from existing and developing grant schemes. You will provide leadership and guidance to Grant Delivery and Client Services Teams including effective direction and delegation. You will also lead on the design and implementation of new grant activities to be delivered by the Grant Delivery Team, working closely with the Safeguarding and Policy Manager, Grant Delivery Manager and other teams across the organisation. With previous leadership experience within a Funder/ stakeholder relationship management role, the successful candidate will have experience of leading process development and implementation. A proven track record in planning workflows, capacity planning and workload forecasting is essential. Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, you will have excellent analytical, planning, organisation and evaluation skills. Progressive and positive with a commitment to continuous improvement, you will be able to prioritise and manage multiple activities with the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
